Nicole (Nikki) Fornalik, PA-C
Nicole (Nikki) Fornalik, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant. She graduated magna cum laude from Midwestern University College of Health Sciences with a Bachelor of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Kentucky. Nikki has been working as physician assistant in gynecologic oncology since 2003. She takes part in all aspects of patient care, including first-assisting in surgery, pre- and post-operative care and cancer surveillance. Nikki has contributed to numerous articles and presentations during national and international specialty meetings. Implementation of her original idea resulted in first successful case of minimally invasive (robotic) hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy without usage of Trendelenburg position (Gynecol Oncol 2018 Feb; 148(2):432) .
Nikki lives with her husband, Hubert. She has a son, a daughter and 3 step-daughters. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. She likes traveling, kayaking and dancing tango with her husband.
Nikki believes that knowing patients on a personal level is as important as understanding their disease and treatment options. She respects each patient’s distinct physical and emotional needs and serves as a resource, supporter and guide for patients and their families.
